Saturday 9 June – The Diocesan Lay Conference at Harrogate Convention Centre is aiming to affirm and galvanise lay discipleship and ministry across the diocese.  We would like to send 4 delegates who together have potential to play leading roles in parish life over the next 10 years, have a strong interest in relating faith to day-to-day life and are already engaged in church-based ministry.  Please speak to Chris if you would like to attend.

CURE INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL, MALAWI
Please pray for a reliable water supply as they are hoping to install new overland pipes to the reservoir tanks.
Please pray for children in hospital and for the clinics as they access more remote areas to meet physical and spiritual needs.
Please pray for Rob Brown (Executive Director) and his family as they return to the UK.

HOST UK LENT APPEAL
As we approach a time of joyful celebration in the Church calendar we ask if you might consider doing something for international relations…making a small but significant contribution towards greater understanding worldwide.  HOST’s mission is to give a welcome to international students in British homes for friendship and cultural exchange. Our volunteer hosts can offer hospitality for one day (daytime only) or three days and two nights at the weekend.
We operate all year round and would very much welcome more volunteer hosts to join us.
